If you are a new or aspiring founder of your small business and have no time to waste, or really struggle to do your social media marketing, you will enjoy our #CreatingReorganized show!
In my day job as a psychology professor I teach my bachelor and master students in real life, how to reorganize processes in a goal-directed and future-proof way in companies. That’s what I had done for a living as a former IT strategy consultant.
For my own career coaching business on the side, I can only dedicate a fraction of my time – because I prioritize care work for my little children. I face the same or similar challenges like all small business owners. So, I applied all my experience and knowledge to create my other video podcast #PostdocTransformation to streamline my social media marketing and to boost sales of my coaching, e-courses and affiliate products or services.
I strategically capitalize on professional tools to scale my impact according to my vision of life.
Listen and subscribe to this  #CreatingReorganized show, so you will learn to do the same for your own business, to build the know, like and trust factor and to boost sales of your services or products!
Please also ask your business-specific questions, because for season 2, I envision interview episodes with aspiring and new founders like you, if you want to get your #CreatingReorganized according to your vision of life!

Dear CreatingReorganizer,
welcome back to CreatingReorganized, the show that’s all about marketing your business according to your vision life. I'm your host, Prof. Dr. Eleonore Soei-Winkels, and today we are diving into the single biggest question that keeps every business owner up at night: ROI. Return on Investment.

This isn't just one episode; this is your full-on "Podcast ROI Playbook". We're going to break down how to calculate the value of your business promotional video podcast, from the money you invest into your podcasting gear and tools, to the sales you make because of your podcast. Because let's be real, you wouldn't invest your precious time and resources into a marketing strategy without knowing if it's going to truly pay off.

The title of this CreatingReorganized episode is: " How to increase the ROI of your business promotional video podcast " Get ready to find out how your strategic, doable, and plannable efforts can lead to measurable and scalable results, giving you the freedom to cherry-pick your clients and market your business according to your vision of life.

So, let's dive deep into our playbook.

Your Challenge as a business owner:

From Messy Efforts to Foundational Trust

Before we dive in, a quick little nod to all of you who have sent in your messages. Your feedback on our last episodes has been just phenomenal. It fills my heart to know that shows like Episode 4: When to record, edit and publish your video podcast seasonal strategies for the small business owners to avoid burnout are making a real difference in how you manage your time and energy. It shows me that you're not just looking for a quick fix; you're looking for a sustainable business and life. And that is exactly what we're going to build together.

And I had to laugh really hard, when I read a listener’s message, which actually inspired this episode today: Eleonore, is it worth it to start a business promotional video podcast? Can you break down the cost and benefits? I love this entrepreneurial question!

So, your wish is my command. Today, we are tackling the elephant in the room: ROI. Return on Investment. It’s the question behind the question for every single one of you. You are sitting on the fence, amazed and excited to have your own business promotional video podcast, but you also have your business to run and your life to live, of course. You see me creating my content, posting all over my social media platforms, and you wonder, would all that effort be worth it, while you're wearing multiple hats – CEO, marketing, sales, product development, sometimes even customer service. Is this time investment going to pay off? Are my potential leads even listening? And if they are, how on earth do I turn a "listen" into a "sale"? This is the fear that your human effort gets lost in a sea of automated noise, the fear of AI invisibility.

This is the real entrepreneurship-family life balance concern. You need to know that your strategic, doable, and plannable effort is going to deliver a measurable result. You’re worried that the money you’re spending on equipment, software, and maybe even a little help, if you hire me, isn’t going to give you the return you need, especially in this cost-sensitive market. The trend I've noticed among my own clients is this exact thing: they're asking for a detailed ROI breakdown before they even consider a service, much more than they used to. They want proof that their investment will translate into tangible growth for their business and not just another expense.

And the short answer is: The higher priced your services and products are, the more a business promotional video podcast is worth your efforts. With CreatingReorganized, you will generate leads and eventually make sales. The efforts are similar for cheap vs. expensive services and products, but the business owners with higher priced services and products will have a better profit, obviously. So, if you sell family homes with a good margin, then a business promotional video podcast is more worth the effort than for if some sells lower priced commodities. And that example of selling homes also shows how different it may be to build the know, like and trust factor in different cultures. Let alone negotiation styles, the demand for direct or indirect communication, etc. and we talk about that in my Intercultural psychology classes. But for the sake of this episode: buying and selling houses in Germany is very likely a once-in-a life time decision as opposed to other countries, like in the US or UK, where people buy and sell houses with relevance to their stage of life and the number of family members and their age dependent needs. For a real estate seller in the US or UK, retaining a client who wants to sell and buy another home in the next decade is important and this is where a business promotional video podcast can be gold.

And you also need to think of logistics and warehousing, how fast and scalable can you meet the demand, when your business promotional video podcast gains traction? I had once a client, who opened up a wait list for the services because he was unable to meet the demand with the team at hand.

Let's pause quickly to appreciate those who sponsor this valuable episode.

I want to share with you my best marketing agent, serving my underprivileged, underrepresented, and underserved audience, leads and clients is key for me. As an Asian working mom, business owner, and professor in Germany, I can't be marketing and selling all the time. Like I said already, I'm also very mindful with my own resources.

So, I chose Podbean as my podcasting host and monetizing provider. I'm on the Unlimited Plus plan for our PostdocTransformation and CreatingReorganized shows, and every year I click on renewal, because. Podbean ensures your audience can inclusively listen and watch your podcast according to their visual and auditive needs. You can easily share your podcast on all major podcasting directories, which allows you to reach a huge audience on their favorite devices, no matter where they are. Podbean also has an ads marketplace, so you can attract and manage sponsors for dynamic ads that play based on your audience criteria.
This is a game-changer! It allows you to serve your audience with free, valuable content, and your ad sponsors financially support you independently in each episode. And of course, you'll see insightful stats per demographic, so you can tailor your future episodes and present suitable ads. And here’s a pro tip: find business who offer products and services adjacent to yours, so that you can authentically promote their business to your listeners who may need and want that anyway!

If you want to try out Podbean for your own podcasting, DM or email me "Podbean" so I can share my experience and consult with you. Please check it out via my link in the show notes. After this quick appreciation of our advertisement, we now return to our valuable episode.

Leveraging the Halo Effect for Foundational ROI

To truly understand the value of your video podcast, we need to move beyond simple spreadsheets and apply a powerful psychological model that shapes how people perceive you. We're going to talk about the Halo Effect. This is a well-established cognitive bias where a person's positive impression of someone in one area positively influences their opinion in other, often unrelated, areas. In simple terms: if you're perceived as excellent, trustworthy, or authoritative in one aspect, that positive impression tends to "spill over," making people assume you possess similar positive qualities in other aspects as well, and the Halo-effect can also boost your pricing strategy.

This is where my unique personal brand, which is a blend of several distinct and credible roles, becomes incredibly powerful. My brand isn't just one thing; it's a strategic mix, and each component casts its own positive "halo."

I am first and foremost a psychologist and a professor at a university. My job is to conduct rigorous scientific research and teach students complex theories. This immediately bestows a level of credibility, intellectual authority, and trustworthiness. When people encounter the title "Prof. Dr. Eleonore Soei-Winkels," they inherently associate me with deep knowledge, validated expertise, and an evidence-based approach. But it also comes with the assumption that a professor might be less commercially driven, have little to none business-acumen and no idea of innovation in the real world outside of academia. This academic halo means that before I even articulate my business offerings, there's a pre-established foundation of respect, belief and expectations in my capabilities.

But my halo doesn't stop there. I also spent significant time as an IT strategy consultant at Accenture. This experience adds another powerful layer. It shows that I'm not just a non-practical nerd; I have real-world, high-stakes business experience. I've worked with CEOs and C-level executives, understanding complex organizational structures, technological implementations, and strategic decision-making. This consulting background creates a halo of hands-on, results-orientation, and an understanding of the corporate landscape, bridging the gap between academic theory and tangible business application. It tells people I understand not just what works, but how it works in a competitive, operational environment.

Then, there's the deeply relatable and human aspect: I am a working mom of two young kids. This role resonates with so many of my listeners who are also juggling demanding careers with family life. This creates a halo of relatability, empathy, and efficiency. It communicates that I understand the challenges of time management, balancing priorities, and the constant quest for harmony between professional ambition and personal fulfillment. It tells them, "I get it, I'm in the trenches with you, and I’ve found ways to make it work."

And finally, I am a podcaster. This is the vehicle through which all these halos are amplified and consistently reinforced. My two podcasts, 'CreatingReorganized' and 'PostdocTransformation,' are not just content outlets; they are living, breathing extensions of my personal brand.

When a potential client or a collaborator encounters me, whether it's through a LinkedIn post, an email, or, most powerfully, through watching or listening to one of my podcast episodes, they are immediately exposed to this rich tapestry of credibility. They see the title "Prof. Dr." and they already have a positive impression of my intellectual rigor. They hear about Accenture, and they trust my strategic acumen. They hear me talk about juggling family, and they feel a human connection.

This can be your CreatingReorganized power of your own business promotional video podcast. It is the single most effective way to build this multifaceted "halo" around yourself and your brand. When people watch you, they get to know you. They see your expressions, they hear your authentic voice, they witness your passion, and they begin to trust you on a deeper level than they ever could from just reading a blog post or scrolling through social media. And as we all know, people buy from people they know, like, and trust. The video podcast, in particular, accelerates this process exponentially because it brings the visual and auditory elements together, creating a much more immersive and personal connection. It's almost like having a one-on-one conversation with thousands of people simultaneously, building those halos with every single episode.

Podbean: The Distribution Powerhouse & Analytics Engine

I use Podbean for hosting and distribution. This is my ultimate "set-and-forget" tool. I upload my video episode once, and Podbean automatically distributes it to every major podcast platform—Apple, Spotify, Amazon Music, you name it. It's truly a time-saver because I don't have to manually upload my episode to a dozen different places. Only when Spotify changed something on their end, I had to go back in to my Podbean settings. I almost forgot how to do that, because I set that up 2 years ago.

But the real magic lies in their new statistics features. This goes beyond simple numbers of your latest downloads and top episodes. You can see listening trends and engagement rates of your listeners, compare a selected episode to average downloads of last episodes, 7, 14, 30 or 60 days after release. I can see, which episodes were played, re-played and replayed again. For example, if you have an educational show like this one, reflecting the episode may be easier or even different at the second time of listening. It allows me to track the average consumption time of each episode.

Let me give you a specific example of how I use this. I recently saw a significant drop-off in listenership at the 12-minute mark on one of my episodes. I went back to the transcript (which Descript generated, but more on that in a moment!) and realized that's exactly where I had a long, detailed explanation of a complex academic theory without a real-world example. It was too dense. Using that Podbean data, I now know to break up those theoretical segments with a personal story or a quick "aha!" moment. This is how you use data to improve your content and ensure you're getting a true ROI. It’s not about guessing; it's about knowing exactly what content resonates with your audience. And that’s why I have chapter markers to balance more details for the real estate seller vs. general information for all of you.

And here's your actionable prompt: For the existing podcasters, log into your Podbean or podcast hosting platform’s dashboard and identify your three most-listened-to episodes and a point where a significant number of listeners dropped off. For those without a podcast, download the Podbean app and explore a few podcasts in your niche.

Credibility and trust

And finally, I am a podcaster. This is the vehicle through which all these halos are amplified and consistently reinforced. My two podcasts, 'CreatingReorganized' and 'PostdocTransformation,' are not just content outlets; they are living, breathing extensions of my personal brand.

When people watch you, they get to know you. They see your expressions, they hear your authentic voice, they witness your passion, and they begin to trust you on a deeper level than they ever could from just reading a blog post or scrolling through social media. In our next part, we're going to dive into the more tangible, measurable metrics that every business owner needs to track: the financial and the brand ROI. We'll get into the numbers, the metrics, and the practical tools that make it all possible.

Descript: The AI-Powered Editing & Content Repurposing Co-Pilot

Next up is my co-pilot, Descript. This tool is mind-blowing. It's an all-in-one audio and video editor that transcribes your episode automatically. You can edit the audio by editing the text. I used to have to record and save all my host-read ads separately, and it was a real hassle to go back and update them for every episode. But now, Descript's AI makes the rough edits in minutes, which saves me so much time! From this season 2 onwards, I will now update and read my ads fresh for every single episode, so you know this isn't some stale, pre-recorded message. This unique recording makes a huge difference in your listening experience and, honestly, in the conversion rate for my ads, which is key for me and you, as my ads revenues pays some of my podcasting costs, so you can listen to my shows for free.

Descript is my ultimate AI sandbox. Here is a step-by-step look at how I use it to get from raw audio to a full content distribution plan:

Transcription and Filler Word Removal: I record my raw video and audio. Descript’s AI immediately transcribes it. It also automatically identifies all the "ums," "ahs," and stuttered words. I can then remove all of these with a single click. It's like having a professional editor clean up your audio in seconds, without ever touching a single audio wave. In very few exceptions, I will touch the single audio waves, which is also easy, but really seldomly needed.

Generating Show Notes, social media articles posts: I then use Descript's AI to generate a detailed, enganging captions from the cleaned-up transcript. This saves me hours of writing and ensures the show notes are accurate and keyword-rich, which is great for SEO.

Creating 20 plus Social Clips: Here's my favorite part. Once the show notes are done, I use Descript to identify the best, most impactful soundbites or video clips from the episode. To be honest, I use a different tool for the video backdrops to make the branding truly unique to both of my shows. With a few clicks, I can create short, dynamic, animated video clips perfect for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts. I can even have the AI generate captions and relevant hashtags. This is how I can create 20 plus for every 45 min episode in under 1 hour.

It's truly a co-pilot that automates all the tedious, repetitive tasks that lead to burnout. This is why I mentioned in Episode 9 that AI should be your co-pilot, not your replacement, as linked in the show notes.

And here's your actionable prompt: Download the Descript free trial, as linked in the show notes. Use your smartphone to record a quick, one-minute video of yourself talking about your business, then upload it to Descript to see the magic of the AI transcription in action. DM me, if you need me to consult you.

If you want to try out Descript for your own podcast editing, DM or email me "Descript" so I can share my experience and consult you. Please check it out via my link in the show notes. I only get a small financial reward if you become their customer using my Descript link. Thank you for the financial support!

And now, let’s get back to our inspiring CreatingReorganized episode!

The Measurable & Strategic ROI:

Converting Listeners to Clients

We just talked about the foundational ROI—the invaluable trust and authority you build through the Halo Effect. Now, we're moving into the territory that often feels more quantifiable, the tangible metrics that prove your podcast is not just a passion project, but a powerful business asset. We're going to dive deep into the financial and the brand and authority ROI that demonstrates your business promotional video podcast is a worthwhile investment of your time, energy, and resources.

Let’s not waste any time.

Financial ROI – From Listener to Lead to Client

This is the one everyone wants to know about: how does the podcast actually make money? And the answer is, in many different, often interconnected, ways. It’s not always a direct "listen-to-buy" immediate transaction, but rather a strategic journey through your sales funnel, where the podcast acts as the ultimate warm-up act.

Direct Lead Generation and Conversion: The most direct way your podcast generates financial ROI is by generating qualified leads for your business, which then convert into paying clients. My own 'CreatingReorganized' podcast is a living example of a highly efficient lead-generation machine. I’ve used it to grow my business and attract my ideal clients, allowing me to build a business according to my vision of life.

Let me give you a very specific, real-world example that perfectly illustrates this. I hosted an onsite podcast-related meeting for ten of my professor colleagues at my university. They were keenly interested in understanding how they could leverage the power of video podcasting for promoting their academic books and their consulting services. This wasn't a cold outreach; it was an engagement driven by their prior awareness of my work, likely influenced by my podcasts and my known expertise. Out of those ten highly engaged professor colleagues, four of them became paying clients for my high-ticket coaching services.

Think about that for a second. With one focused, in-person event, directly stemming from the authority and interest generated by my podcasting activities, I was able to generate new, highly qualified business. These weren't just random leads; they were colleagues who already knew my academic rigor and my strategic approach. That is a clear, trackable, and high-value ROI. We’re not talking about vanity metrics like likes or downloads; we're talking about real people, who are already warmed up to your brand and your expertise, ready to invest in a solution you provide. This demonstrates the power of the podcast to create a pre-qualified audience.

To get the free lead magnet, listeners click a link in the show notes, and they land on a conversational form created with Typeform. What I love about Typeform is that it feels so human and conversational. It's a great user experience that makes people feel seen and heard, not just like another entry on a spreadsheet.

Their new AI feature can provide real-time answers to common questions within the form itself, making it a smoother experience for your potential lead. My quiz, "Check your readiness to leap out of science," is a perfect example of this. I wrote the questions to feel like a one-on-one conversation.

If you want to try out Typeform for your own lead generation and qualification, DM or email me "Typeform" so I can share my experience and consult you. Please check it out via my link in the show notes. I only get a small financial reward if you become their customer using my Typeform link.

Cost Savings as ROI

Beyond direct sales, consider the significant cost savings. Think about the time and money you don't have to spend on traditional, often less effective, marketing activities like cold outreach, expensive networking events, or constantly feeding the beast of paid social media ads. Your video podcast is a 24/7 lead machine that works for you even when you're sleeping, when you're with your family, or when you're teaching. It constantly builds your audience, nurtures them, and positions you as an expert, requiring far less active "selling" from your end. That's a huge return right there, especially vital in today's cost-sensitive market where every dollar and every hour needs to work harder. It reduces your customer acquisition cost (CAC) significantly over time.

Strategic Monetization Features: Platforms like Podbean offer specific monetization features that can directly contribute to your financial ROI. Through their ads marketplace, I've qualified for specific dynamic ad insertion features. This means that relevant advertisements can be automatically inserted into my episodes, generating passive income without me having to actively seek out sponsors for every single show. Furthermore, having a sponsor link and affiliate links directly within my show notes and mentions in episodes increases not just credibility, but also provides additional streams of revenue from aligned products and services. These aren't just ads; they're endorsements of tools I genuinely use and believe in, further building trust while generating income. But I want to be honest, selling ads spots, and reading ads is a small income stream, compared to higher priced services and products you may sell.

To make this easy to track, you need the right tools that integrate seamlessly into your workflow, allowing you to focus on your expertise, not on manual data entry.

I use Thinkific to host my free and paid e-courses and memberships. It’s simple, professional, and helps me present my freebie as a high-value educational tool. They have a fantastic AI-powered tool that helps me draft my course outlines in minutes!

If you want to try out Thinkific for creating your own e-course and mentoring membership, DM or email me "Thinkific" so I can share my experience or consult you.

Please check it out via my link in the show notes. I only get a small financial reward if you become their customer using my Thinkific link.

How fast and reliant do you capture leads?

Lead Capture with Formtype: I use Formtype to create amazing, on-brand, and conversational forms for my lead magnets, like my "Business Readiness Quiz." This isn't just a boring form; it's an engaging experience that reflects my brand. Listeners click on a direct image or caption in my show notes, take the quiz, and enter their email address. This drastically increases completion rates for my lead magnets and quizzes, leading to more qualified leads because the interactive nature reduces friction in the sales process. The engaging experience reinforces my brand voice and professionalism from the very first interaction, creating a memorable and positive first impression that differentiates me from competitors. The AI-assisted design features also mean I spend less time on aesthetics and more time on the core content.

ActiveCampaign for integrated email marketing automation, website builder and customer relationship mananagement

I'm expanding my digital business, and I use ActiveCampaign as the centerpiece of all my services like my email course, podcast, newsletter, show notes, website, sales page, merch shop forms—whatever it is, as needed. As a former IT strategy consultant, I have high requirements for my tech stack, and ActiveCampaign offers so many integrations to all my other apps. I use it daily to control, and for every new product or service, I start with ActiveCampaign to dovetail the data workflow from the start. But it’s set and forget, and every time I sit down to design a new product or service, I am amazed about how much AI is infused into ActiveCampaign.

If you want to create your own digital business with various AI-driven lead magnets and funnel options, DM or email me "ActiveCampaign" so I can share my experience and consult you. Please check it out via my link in the show notes. I only get a small financial reward if you become their customer using my ActiveCampaign link.

Automated nurturing

Automated Nurturing with ActiveCampaign: The moment a listener fills out my Formtype quiz and enters their email address, that information is automatically forwarded to ActiveCampaign. This immediately creates a contact who subscribes to one of my segmented email lists. This connection, established a long time ago, is a cornerstone of my automation strategy.

Within ActiveCampaign, I have the option to set specific business goals, allowing me to track the conversion from my show notes directly to paying clients. Their gamification approach, which as a psychologist I find particularly effective, allows me to set a number of days until I want to reach a certain number of conversions. Their dashboard provides a clear visual signal – a red sign for "needs attention" or green for "according to plan." This immediate feedback is invaluable for strategic adjustments.

ActiveCampaign also offers sophisticated tagging and segmentation. I have a unique tag for every single episode of my podcast. So, if a listener engages with multiple episodes, they become a warmer lead than a one-time listener. By tagging them based on their listening experience – or more accurately, their demonstrated interest – I can segment my audience precisely. This wealth of data allows me to write highly customized emails that deepen trust because I am not guessing but writing something relevant for them. This targeted communication means I need fewer touchpoints, have less risk of deterring or losing leads due to irrelevant messaging, and can focus my precious time on what truly matters to me, according to my vision of life. This automation drives higher conversion rates from warm leads and significantly reduces my manual sales effort.

Schedule your social media posts in advance and automatically!

Finally, I use Metricool to schedule and manage all my content across LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok. Remember those clips Descript made for you? You can upload them all into Metricool and schedule them to go out over the next few weeks. What I love is their new "Social Inbox" that centralizes all my DMs, comments, and messages from all my connected social media platforms into one place.
No more switching apps and staying trapped on TikTok, Instagram, Threads or Youtube! It's a true marketing automation for small business solution. I was able to reduce my own time on social media drastically.
Gone are the days, when I was chasing trending audio and videos, now I mainly use my own jingles, audio and video from my shows! 100% on brand, and if I want to, I can sprinkle in dedicates videos more native to TikTok etc.

I use Metricool strategically. For LinkedIn, I schedule my posts to go out during business hours when my ideal client—the established professional—is online. For Pinterest, I focus on evergreen visual content that links back to my videos and blog posts. Plus, their Link-in-Bio tool is a lifesaver for driving traffic from Instagram and TikTok, and the AI assistant can even help you write and optimize your social media captions.

And here's your actionable prompt: Go to your social media bios and check if they are set up to drive traffic to your business promotional video podcast. Do you have a clear and compelling call to action?

If you want to schedule your content on social media, DM or email me "Metricool" so I can share my experience and consult you. Please check it out via my link in the show notes. I only get a small financial reward if you become their customer using my Metricool link.

Brand & Authority ROI – Beyond the Numbers

This pillar is harder to put a direct monetary number on, but it is arguably more valuable in the long run than immediate financial returns, because it creates a sustainable foundation for all future growth.

Establishing Unquestionable Thought Leadership: When you show up consistently, with valuable insights, and deliver high-quality content through your video podcast, you inevitably become a trusted expert and an authority figure in your field. This is how you build a powerful brand that attracts opportunities to you, rather than you having to constantly chase them down. You shift from being a vendor to a go-to resource.

The Ultimate Social Proof and Trust Signal: I'll give you another specific, real-world example that exemplifies this perfectly. After consistently podcasting for two years, investing my time and expertise, I received an incredible invitation. I was asked to be a featured guest, as Season 1, Episode 1, on Podbean's very own in-house podcast, #PodbeanAmplified, to speak about how I podcast.

Think about that for a second. The company that hosts my podcast, the platform that enables my entire operation, saw the value I was providing and asked me to be a featured voice on their most prominent show! That is the ultimate trust signal, the most powerful social proof a podcaster could ask for. It wasn't just recognition; it was a profound endorsement granted by my very own podcast hosting and monetizing platform.

This feature led to a significant ripple effect. It opened up new connections with other esteemed podcasters who confirmed my abilities, stating that I "podcast well enough to swim along" with them in the industry. They've not only endorsed my show but actively like and engage with my social media content, further amplifying my reach and credibility. This external validation gives me an incredible boost when approaching potential partners or high-calibre clients. I leverage this by proudly sharing this highlight in every show note and on my social media as a constant comment, reinforcing my authority. Other podcasters, seeking inspiration or collaboration, have found my 'CreatingReorganized' show directly because of that interview on Podbean Amplified. I am, to this day, incredibly proud to have been featured as the first episode in their inaugural season.

This level of authority means I don’t have to convince people that I know what I'm talking about or that my methods work. My podcast, and this powerful endorsement, has already done that for me. It allows me to position my services as a premium, high-value solution for clients who are already convinced of my expertise, significantly reducing the sales cycle and increasing the perceived value of my offerings.

Here's your actionable prompt: Think about your Brand & Authority ROI – Beyond the Numbers: How can your business promotional video podcast boost your brand and as an authority, which would allow you to sell your offerings at higher price points, or even new target groups with bigger pockets and ready to spend their money with you?

In our next part, we're going to dive into the final, and in many ways the most profound, pillar: the personal and professional ROI. We'll talk about the technology I use to automate everything, from content editing to social media scheduling, and reveal a new service for those who want the ROI without the hands-on effort.

The Automated & Human ROI:

Building Your Life-First Business

We've just covered the financial ROI—how your podcast generates leads and sales—and the brand and authority ROI—how it builds trust and elevates your standing in your industry. Now, we're talking about the most precious commodity of all for a small business owner: your time, your sanity, and your ultimate personal and professional ROI.

This is where my background as a psychologist, a professor, and a business owner all come together. I deeply believe that your business should serve you according to your vision of life, not the other way around. It should be a vehicle for your fulfillment, your impact, and your freedom. And the ROI on your personal time, your professional development, and your ability to live according to your values is something you absolutely need to factor into the equation. It's the core of what "CreatingReorganized" truly means.

Personal & Professional ROI –

Beyond the Balance Sheet

Growth, Education, and Real-World Impact: My shows, 'CreatingReorganized' and 'PostdocTransformation,' have been an amazing personal investment in my own knowledge, resilience, and growth. The process of researching, creating, and producing these episodes, and the sheer amount of real-world data and experience I've collected, is something I can now directly share with my bachelor and master students. This is the kind of ROI that you can't put a dollar figure on, but it’s invaluable for me as a professor. It makes my job more engaging and my teaching profoundly more impactful.

Let me give you a powerful example. In every episode of my 'CreatingReorganized' show, I meticulously explain and dovetail psychological concepts, models, and theories with direct relevance for marketing and sales. This isn’t just abstract theory; it's a living, breathing case study for my students, providing a direct window into the real business world they are preparing to enter.

A standout moment for me was when I took my master students to a startup event at the Gründungsfabrik Mönchengladbach, which was actually hosted by my former student, Jamie Lee Poos. This was a full-circle moment in itself! There, I was able to match four of my students who are graduating in 2026 and you can catch them on LinkedIn!) with a real startup founder. Their assignment was to outline a business promotional video podcast for this founder, directly applying the principles and strategies from our 'CreatingReorganized' show. It was such a win for all parties, that the Gründungsfabrik Mönchengladbach has invited me to their next Starter-Club in September 2025, and that will have taken place, at the time of this episode’s release date. I can’t wait to see my students serving startup founders with a business promotional video pocast in the next coming months!

Why? Because that last time was an incredible, hands-on opportunity for my students to not only meet a real startup founder but to learn about the raw, unfiltered business hurdles firsthand. They got to create a student assignment that was 100% applicable for their client. It was an absolute didactic joy for me to see. Their efforts weren't just graded by myself and then ignored afterward; they were valued, applied, and potentially impactful in a real business setting. This direct application of theory to practice, driven by the insights from my podcasting, is an immense professional ROI for me.

Networking on autopilot, market research

and your suppy chain

Networking on Autopilot: Your podcast is a powerful, organic networking tool. It positions you as a connector and an expert. You can strategically invite your dream clients, potential collaborators, or influential figures in your industry to be guests on your show, This allows you to build genuine relationships that would be incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to forge through cold outreach. These connections often lead to unexpected partnerships, speaking engagements, and new opportunities that are hard to get any other way. If you want to learn more about that, please subscribe, because the next two episodes will be about market research and supply chain to boost the return on investment of your business promotional video podcast.

Now, you might be thinking, "This all sounds amazing, Prof. Dr. Eleonore, but how do you do it all? You're a professor, a working mom of two young kids, and you run two successful podcasts! Where does the time come from?" And the honest answer, my friend, is consistent strategy and carefully selected technology.

I am a huge proponent of using tech to free up our human time for more important, creative work, for deeper engagement with our students, or most importantly, to have dinner with our families. This is a core part of my strategy, and it’s why I've meticulously built my business on these specific tools. My decision to use them is strategic: they integrate seamlessly, they automate data flow, they significantly save time, they reduce errors, they provide an AI sandbox for experimentation, and they serve as a living, breathing example for my students of how to leverage technology to build a business that truly works for them.

The Toolkit: My Automation Playbook for Measurable Freedom

This is where I pull back the curtain and show you the exact tech stack that enables me to achieve all of this ROI without sacrificing my life. These are the tools that allow me to "Create Reorganized."

For Hosting & Analytics: Podbean. A lot of people ask me, "Which hosting platform do you recommend?" I tell them the honest truth: I can’t give you a "before" story with another host because I chose Podbean as my very first hosting platform back when I started, and I’ve never had a single reason to switch. It was the right choice from the beginning.

Financial ROI with Podbean: Its rapid launch capability meant I could get my content out faster, establishing my lead generation quicker. The reliable distribution ensures less tech issues interrupting my sales funnel, meaning my content is always available to convert. Critically, my consistent performance qualified me for specific monetization features like dynamic ad insertion on their ads marketplace, generating passive income. Furthermore, having a prominent sponsor link and affiliate links, which I actively mention and highlight, not only increases my credibility as a podcaster but also provides direct revenue streams.

Brand & Authority ROI with Podbean: The professional hosting lends immense credibility to my show, ensuring it always looks and sounds top-tier. Consistent uptime and availability of my content reinforce reliability and professionalism. And, as I shared earlier, being featured on their own #PodbeanAmplified podcast amplified my brand in an unparalleled way, solidifying my position as an expert in the industry.

Personal & Professional ROI with Podbean: The low learning curve meant less setup stress, allowing me to focus on content. I have immense peace of mind knowing my content is live, accessible, and reliably distributed, freeing up mental energy for content creation rather than technical headaches. This allows me to focus on my teaching, consulting, and family without worrying about hosting issues.

Everybody can post on YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok and Instagram. But having your own business promotional video podcast uppens your game. And that show is really making it easy to derive content for all your social media platforms.

And here’s your actionable prompt: Who is your target audience? Where do they hang out? If they already consume podcasts, you cannot afford to sleep on podcasting to market your business! Describe your ideal customer and research, whether your competitors already have business promotional video podcast. If so, how can you differentiate your brand and yourself in your niche?

Video and audio editing is tedious, unless...

For Content Repurposing & Editing: Descript. I am not a video editor, and I absolutely do not have time to be one. Before I found Descript, I was recording 5-minute segments and manually merging them together with an external, clunky tool. It was a tedious, mind-numbing process that took hours and was prone to errors. I was ready to give up or hire a video editor. Now, with Descript, it’s a total game-changer. You edit the video by editing the transcript, just like a Word document. I simply highlight the "ums" and "ahs," the awkward pauses, or even entire sentences I want to remove, and press delete. The video and audio magically adjust. If I can edit my video podcast including the long form audio and the twenty plus social clips per episode, you can do that, too, LOL.

Financial ROI with Descript: This dramatically speeds up content creation, allowing me to produce better episodes more efficiently. I can rewrite and organically integrate mentions of my affiliates and services directly into the script, highlighting new features as they are valuable in the given context. This ensures that advertisements or calls-to-action are not skipped or ignored because they become known and anticipated within the narrative. I can also read every ad fresh for each episode, which increases the listener experience and should hence increase retention and conversion. The speed of editing also enables faster repurposing for lead magnets, as I can quickly extract key segments or create custom clips that are ready for social media or to update lead magnets in Formtype.

Brand & Authority ROI with Descript: The ability to easily remove mistakes, awkward pauses, and unnecessary filler words results in higher quality, more polished, and professional-sounding content. This enhances my credibility and reinforces my brand as meticulous and high-calibre. Descript's easy transcription feature is also a massive win for SEO, as I can quickly generate text content for my website and show notes, making my episodes more discoverable by search engines and further amplifying my authority.

Personal & Professional ROI with Descript: The most immediate benefit is a massive reduction in frustration and mental load. I spend far less time on tedious editing, which means more time for my family, my teaching, and my core consulting work. It gives me the ability to experiment freely with video content without needing a professional editor, empowering my creativity and allowing me to iterate quickly on content ideas.

Now you all know, why I love Descript and I haven’t even talked about recording interviews with multiple guests remotely and creating video explainers with AI avatars. Comment “Descript Demo”, if you want a dedicated episode on how I use Descript for interviewing and demonstrating products and services!

Here’s your actionable prompt: Maybe you were hesitant about starting your own business promotional video podcast because of the video and audio editing component. Imagine what you can can get for your business, if you either learn Descript or hire me to do all of that?

How to post multiple times a day on many social media platforms without you lifting a finger

For Social Media Consistency: Metricool. The truth is, I’m an expert in psychological marketing and sales strategies, but I’m not a social media manager, nor do I want to be. Before Metricool, I was spending hours every week manually posting content across different platforms, often struggling to keep up. I even paid for another scheduling software, but that was not worth the money.  I’d lose consistency because, frankly, it wasn’t my priority. Content would get skipped or posted haphazardly, impacting my reach. Now, with Metricool, that entire nightmare is gone. I can plan and schedule my posts weeks, even months, in advance.
When I now say, I want to serve my idea client avatar on all my social media platforms on a daily basis or even at multiple times, I can plan that ahead and will get that. I then only have to remember to answer comments etc. All of that I can do on Metricool instead of spending my precious time in social media rabbit holes. Provided of course, that I have enough content to post, but that’s not my problem, since I run two business promotional video podcasts. I have the opposite problem: When collaborators want me to create a post spontaneously, it’s hard to find a good spot, because I have already planned my content until the end of 2025. Remember, I am always a season ahead. That is a time and money saver for me. Want to learn how?

Financial ROI with Metricool: The "auto list" feature is a lifesaver. I upload all my social media clips, and then, for each social media platform, I adjust the captions in style and length, define the specific weekdays and times for posting, and even set multiple times throughout the day. Then, I click on "repeat." My content now cycles on autopilot through my social media platforms, constantly driving traffic and leads to my podcast and offers, unless I intentionally change and add something new. This consistent visibility means I avoid missed opportunities due to inconsistent posting and ensures efficient use of my marketing time. It directly contributes to a steady stream of listeners entering my sales funnel.

Brand & Authority ROI with Metricool: This automation ensures a consistent brand presence across all my social media platforms, maintaining my thought leadership even when I’m focused elsewhere. I appear professional, organized, and reliably present, reinforcing my brand identity. This consistency also frees up my time to engage more meaningfully with my audience when I am online, rather than frantically trying to schedule content.

Personal & Professional ROI with Metricool: This is where the "measurable freedom" truly comes to life. The auto list feature is why I could enjoy my summer months mostly offline, completely assured that my 'CreatingReorganized' content was still actively circulating and discoverable. I rested assured that anyone looking for my content could find it, engage with my lead magnets, and move deeper into my sales funnel, all while I was disconnected. This dramatically reduces my stress and mental load, giving me back invaluable personal time and allowing me to have a clear overview of my social media performance without constant manual checking.

Here’s your actionable prompt: Imagine what you can do with all your saved time, when you schedule your posts to be consistent for your ideal clients on social media? How would that make you feel? If you don’t have your own business promotional video podcast yet, what of your content can you schedule in advance to market your business according to your vision of life?

The Final Playbook & Call to Action: Mastering Measurable Freedom

We've journeyed through all the critical facets, from the foundational trust built by the Halo Effect, to the measurable metrics of your financial and brand and authority ROI, and now we dive into the personal freedom you gain from leveraging strategic technology.

Your business promotional video podcast is so much more than a simple content outlet. It's a meticulously engineered trust-building machine. It's an always-on, highly efficient lead generation system. And it's the single most powerful statement that you are an unparalleled expert in your field. It’s not just a marketing channel; it’s a strategic asset that transforms your business and, more importantly, your life. For me, creating and maintaining my podcasts has become the personal best investment in effort versus benefits for on-brand, consistent marketing and generating leads.

Now, let's circle back to my core philosophy, which has always been about empowering you. I am not gatekeeping. Neither in my show nor in my real life. I explain what and how I do everything, right down to the specific tools and strategies. My goal is for you to be able to do this yourself. It is absolutely doable.

But what I've consistently found, after guiding so many business owners through this process, is that some, after seeing the full scope of the process—the strategic planning, the content production, the distribution, the promotion, the intricate dance of automation—decide they don't want to do all of that hands-on implementation themselves. They see the immense value. They understand the "how." But their time is already stretched, or their passion lies elsewhere, or they simply recognize that their expertise is best applied to their own core offerings.

I'll never forget a moment with a client who encapsulated this perfectly, last year. After several in-depth strategy discussions, she looked at me and said, "Eleonore, I know you don’t have time for this, but I feel bad not paying you. All these lunches was already so valuable, I just want to continue working with you. Can you just… do it for me?"

And that, my friends, is exactly why I developed the CreatingReorganized Podcasting Service. It's a premium, done-for-you solution for established business owners and experts who want all the incredible ROI from a high-quality, strategically managed video podcast without the day-to-day time investment or the learning curve of doing it themselves. We handle the comprehensive strategy, the seamless production, the meticulous distribution, and the potent promotion. You get all the measurable financial, brand, and personal ROI, freeing you to focus on your genius.

Mastering Measurable Freedom: The Ultimate ROI

This journey from "messy efforts" to "measurable freedom" is not just a theoretical concept; it's my lived reality, and it can be yours too. By strategically implementing everything we’ve discussed in this playbook, you gain ultimate control over your business and your life.

For me, this approach has helped me build a business that is completely aligned with my vision of life. I can now "cherry-pick my few clients," and this has been a profound transformation. What does "cherry-picking" mean for me?

Choosing Premium Clients: I only work with handpicked clients who have a premium, existing business. Maybe you have an established businesses ready to scale your impact, have a product or service already in place, you manage your operations effectively, but want a constant stream of high-quality lead generation and a sophisticated strategy to build you premium authority on the market. If you are looking to increase your high-ticket sales, and your understand that trust and expertise are the foundations for that, DM me to start and run your business promotional video podcast.

Leveraging High-Calibre Expertise: My experience working with CEOs and at the C-level suite during my time at Accenture allows me to position you as the high-calibre experts and problem-solvers you truly are. As a psychologist can deeply understand your ideal clients' needs and translate that into trust-worthy, highly reputable business promotional video podcast content and marketing strategies. Think of the real estate seller dealing in multi-million dollar properties, or the oldtimer car dealer specializing in rare, vintage vehicles where the profit margin is high, but the entire business hinges on an absolute foundation of trust and reputation. These are the kinds of trust-based, high-value businesses I now attract and serve in my own season breaks.

Impact on My Life: This ability to cherry-pick has profoundly impacted my income, ensuring I work with clients who value my expertise and are prepared for the investment. More importantly, it has revolutionized my work-life balance. I now have the measurable freedom to fully embrace my role as a professor, dedicated to my students and research, and to be present as a mom to my young children. My daily and weekly schedule is no longer dictated by the relentless chase for new business, but by intentional choices. It means I have time for deep work, for family dinners, for personal well-being, and for continuously refining my own expertise. I have the luxury of choice, and that, my friends, is the most valuable ROI of all.

So, your last actionable prompt for your journey forward, is to truly internalize this playbook. Don't let the fear of not knowing the exact ROI stop you from doing the thing that can change your business and your life. The value is there. We just need to learn how to measure it, how to leverage it, and how to make it work for you.

My final thought for you is this: You can start messy, and that’s perfectly okay. Many of us do. But you absolutely don’t have to stay messy if you understand and apply the principles of 'CreatingReorganized' to your business promotional video podcast. Just do it. It’s my personal best investment in effort versus benefits of on-brand, consistent marketing and generating leads according to my vision of life. And because of it, I can now cherry-pick my few, high-calibre clients. That's the freedom I want for you too.
