I face the same or similar challenges like all small business owners. So, I applied all my experience and knowledge to create my other video podcast #PostdocTransformation to streamline my social media marketing and to boost sales of my coaching, e-courses and affiliate products or services.
I strategically capitalize on professional tools to scale my impact according to my vision of life.

Hello, my dear CreatingReorganizers!
Welcome back to CreatingReorganized, the show that helps you market your new or existing business according to your vision of life and without burnout. I'm your host, Prof. Dr. Eleonore Soei-Winkels, and I am so fired up to kick off Season 2 with you!

This episode is for you if you've ever felt that pit of dread watching AI-generated content flood your feeds. I'll show you how to stop seeing AI as a threat to your business and start using it as your most powerful marketing partner. I'll cover how to get found online by using smart AI search optimization and how to build a sustainable content creation system that works for you 24/7—all without burning out, across season 2, so stay tuned!

I call my sustainable content creation system #CreatingReorganized, and in my eight episodes of Season 1, I talked about all the fundamentals—how to start, how to sell, and how to avoid that dreaded burnout or maybe specifically to podcasting, without podfade.
I've laid the groundwork, and I really hope, you have already included at least parts of CreatingReorganized into your video podcasting.

Is my real, messy, human content even going to matter anymore?

Now, I want to ask you something. Have you ever scrolled through LinkedIn or Instagram and felt that tiny pinch of panic? You see another 'perfect' AI-generated post or a video with a slick, but lifeless, AI voiceover and you think, "Is my real, messy, human content even going to matter anymore? Am I going to be outpaced and out-marketed by a robot?"

I am here to tell you, from one small business owner to another, that this fear is real, but AI is not a threat to your humanity or your brand. It's an opportunity. It's a partner. And in this episode, we're going to dive deep into how you can use AI as your new marketing sidekick to cut through the noise, amplify your unique human voice, and market your business to be more resilient and more powerful than ever before.

And speaking of side-kicks, let me give you a little peek behind the curtain. The very service I've been building and running for myself is now available to very few of you. Our CreatingReorganized Podcasting Service is a premium, done-for-you solution that handles all the strategy, the tech, the promotion—all of it. It's the AI-powered engine you’ve been dreaming of, so you can focus on being building your business.
Only caveat: I will cherry pick only 1-3 clients, because I really cherish living according to my vision of life. It has started from let’s talk about podcasting strategy to, can we repeat this on a paid basis, because this is so valuable. However, I need to balance 1:1 client work according to my vision of life.

How to Balance Human and AI Efforts

Let’s start with you. You're a founder, a creator, a business owner. You've poured your heart and soul into your product or service. You have a unique point of view, a story that only you can tell. Maybe you have got a book or even multiple books you want to promote.
But you're worried. You see all this AI-generated content flooding the market—blog posts, social media captions, videos that look and sound… well, kind of perfect. Almost too perfect. And you’re wondering if your authentic, slightly-less-than-perfect, human-made content will even get noticed. You’re afraid of being outpaced, out-produced, and out-marketed.
And honestly, maybe even ridiculed by your peers who don’t use AI for their business promotion.

This is a very real fear. It’s the fear of a content devaluation. It's the feeling that your hard work won't be as valuable as an AI bot that can spit out a hundred articles in an hour.

Remember me, the psychologist who studied neuroscience? I ran my own experiments; I had to code my own scripts. I was in a world where data and machines were everything. But even then, the truly important insights, the 'aha' moments, came from human curiosity and creativity. The machines were just the tools. They were never the genius. And the same is true now.
I learned, that I must ask the right questions on all levels, so that the process and results can be objective, reliable and valid. And that scientific mindset is really applicable to using AI.

So, how do we shift this mindset? How do we go from feeling threatened to feeling empowered?

Let's pause quickly to appreciate those who sponsor this valuable episode.

I want to share with you my best marketing agent, serving my underprivileged, underrepresented, and underserved audience, leads and clients is key for me. As an Asian working mom, business owner, and professor in Germany, I can't be marketing and selling all the time. Like I said already, I'm also very mindful with my own resources.

So, I chose Podbean as my podcasting host and monetizing provider. I'm on the Unlimited Plus plan for our PostdocTransformation and CreatingReorganized shows, and every year I click on renewal, because. Podbean ensures your audience can inclusively listen and watch your podcast according to their visual and auditive needs. You can easily share your podcast on all major podcasting directories, which allows you to reach a huge audience on their favorite devices, no matter where they are. Podbean also has an ads marketplace, so you can attract and manage sponsors for dynamic ads that play based on your audience criteria.
This is a game-changer! It allows you to serve your audience with free, valuable content, and your ad sponsors financially support you independently in each episode. And of course, you'll see insightful stats per demographic, so you can tailor your future episodes and present suitable ads. And here’s a pro tip: find business who offer products and services adjacent to yours, so that you can authentically promote their business to your listeners who may need and want that anyway!

If you want to try out Podbean for your own podcasting, DM or email me "Podbean" so I can share my experience and consult with you. Please check it out via my link in the show notes. After this quick appreciation of our advertisement, we now return to our valuable episode.

How to Use Human-Centered AI for Marketing and Sales

This is where I come in, your guide on this journey. My own experience has been a constant dance between academic rigor and real-world business IT strategy. From my time as an IT analyst at ALDI South to being an IT strategy consultant at Accenture, I learned to see technology not as a monster, but as a strategic partner. Technology is meant to serve us, to augment our abilities.

And before I continue, I want to thank you for your feedback! Some of you said, they want to learn more of psychological models, theories or concepts dovetailed into each episode, so, here we go!

When I said, “Technology is meant to serve us, to augment our abilities,” this is really the core of a psychological design philosophy called Human-Centered AI, or HCAI, as proposed by leaders in the field like Ben Shneiderman (2020), is all about developing AI that puts human needs, values, and capabilities at the center. It’s a complete departure from traditional AI, which was all about automation for the sake of efficiency. HCAI's goal is to enhance human abilities, not to replace them. It's about AI as a co-pilot, not an autopilot, so that the output is reliable, safe, and trustworthy.

And that rings a bell, right? You want to convince your leads that your business offers a reliable, safe and trustworthy solution for their paint points. And your business promotional video podcast can be exactly that: reliable, safe and trustworthy. With all your ongoing business, you may not have the time to consistently create new episodes, and manage multiple podcast player distributions and social media posts, to be perceived as reliable, safe, and trustworthy. CreatingReorganized as a human strategy and system, with the right AI tools, can be your solution. Think of it as a human-centered AI approach for marketing and sales.

Think about it. AI can do the tedious, repetitive tasks. It can transcribe your video, so you don't have to. It can create a first draft of show notes. But you, my friend, are the one who provides the unique insight, the personal story, the emotional connection. You are the one who brings the personality and the heart that no AI can ever replicate.

This mindset—that AI is a tool to be strategically used, not a god to be worshipped—is the first, and most crucial, step in our plan.

Prompt for you regarding the Human Centered AI concept

Technology is meant to serve us, to augment our abilities. Just as a warm-up, in your overall business, which are your tasks company goal directed tasks? Which of them do you already augment with AI? If you’re not using AI for them, why not? Answering that question will tell you a lot about your own mindset of how much you embrace AI in your own business.
In CreatingReorganized, I embrace AI for my marketing and sales arm of my business. If that would not fit to my other business, that would be a disconnect, and hard to handle as one person.
If you aren’t embracing AI so much yet, you might want to hire me to capitalize on AI for your business marketing podcast.

The Theory of Planned Behavior to build a roadmap to your business promotional video podcasting success

Okay, so we've got our new mindset. Now, what's the plan? We're going to use the Theory of Planned Behavior by Icek Ajzen (1985) to build a roadmap to success. This theory says our intention to do something is the biggest predictor of whether we'll actually do it. And that intention is built on three things:
1) our attitude towards the action,
2) what our social group thinks about it, and our
3) perceived behavioral control — our belief in our ability to do it.

Link in the show notes: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/272790646_The_Theory_of_Planned_Behavior

So for no. 1, our attitude towards the action, I would say, you are already quite advanced. You are currently listening to this episode no 9 of our CreatingReorganized show and that means, you are very much inclined to start a video podcast to promote your business. Maybe you need to discern, if you want to do it yourself or whether you want to hire me for that.

And for no. 2. what our social group thinks about it, well, if you are perceived as professional in your podcasting and social media game, your friends will celebrate you and your competitors will envy you. Most importantly, your leads will find you better and that increases your chance to make sales! I know that feeling really well. My business friends always ask me, how I do my PostdocTransformation and hence I started this CreatingReorganized show to answer recurrent questions popping up in my DMs. My competitors or professors who behave to the traditional academic expectations talk behind my back but secretly envy what I was able to master in the last couple of years.

What can you plan for your plan for your business promotional video podcast?

Here's my prompt for the first two points: by now, it should be clear, that a video podcast is a lot of work upfront, in the preparation of a season and the season break can be very long and rewarding, reaping what you seeded before. If you want that, to which of these tasks are you willing to commit, building in public? Because, let’s be clear. Once your podcast is published, everybody can see you shine or fail (if they choose to search for you, which actually helps you boosting searchability within your leads). Are you resilient enough to see the podcast statistics and controll the course, as needed?

Let's address no. 3 perceived behavioral control—our belief in our ability to do it: I know it’s a big one for many of you. You might have a great attitude about podcasting, and you know, you should be using AI and see others doing it successfully, but you don't believe you have the tech skills to pull it off. You think, "I'm not tech-savvy enough. I don't know where to start. It all looks so complicated and expensive!"

This is where the right tools and a strategic approach come in. Let's pause quickly for our tool recommendation!

I want to share with you my time and energy saver. As a professor for Industrial and Occupational Psychology, I also teach about the future of work, and as a former IT Strategy Consultant, of course, I embrace AI to be a future-proof podcast producer of the #PostdocTransformation Show and the Creating Reorganized Show.

Descript is the video and audio podcast editing tool of my choice. I pay for their Creator Plan, and it's worth every dollar. Descript comes with an integrated professional remote recording studio for the best audio quality for your guests and you. For example, I record a one-hour interview with a guest or a solo episode, and instead of painstakingly doing a rough cut and deleting all the ums and uhs and filler words and rambling around, which I did for hours, I now click on Descript's AI editing for clarity, and my rough cut is done in seconds. For fine-tuning, I edit the text instead of audio waves.
I just insert all my pre-recorded music, video backdrops, intro ads, and outro in a matter of minutes. I can then easily export closed captions, fine-tuned AI-driven summaries, chapter markers, and titles, which I feed into my show notes and podcast hosts.
Descript even suggests the best clips for social media, and their video editor automatically includes the synchronized speakers, cameras, and audio captions.
They are truly AI-first in their own product development and I simply love working with an innovative tool like Descript.

If you want to try out Descript for your own podcast editing, DM or email me "Descript" so I can share my experience and consult you. Please check it out via my link in the show notes. I only get a small financial reward if you become their customer using my Descript link. Thank you for the financial support!

And now, let’s get back to our inspiring CreatingReorganized episode!

Tools and Techniques for your AI-Powered Business Promotional Video Podcast Marketing Strategy

So now that we've got the right mindset and we've demystified the tech, let's talk about the specific tools and techniques that will transform your podcasting workflow. This is where we put the AI to work, not just in editing, but in the entire content creation and promotion process. This is the heart of a solid AI-powered video podcast marketing strategy for small businesses.

AI for Show Notes and Transcripts: This is a huge time-saver. You've just recorded a brilliant, 45-minute episode. You don't want to spend another two hours writing up the show notes and a full transcript. My workflow, and what we do for our clients, is to let AI handle the heavy lifting. The AI in tools like Descript will transcribe your entire episode with incredible accuracy. From that transcript, you can ask the AI to generate a summary, pull out key quotes, and even suggest titles and headlines. It's a game-changer! Also, with every episode, I train Descript to my voice, so when I need to re-record a sentence, I type in my new words and my AI-voice clone is good enough in covering for me.

AI for Social Media Content: The biggest mistake you can make is to create a podcast and then just let it sit there. You need to promote it everywhere your audience hangs out—LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok. But creating a unique piece of content for each platform is a one-way ticket to burnout.

And here’s where I get asked the most, "Eleonore, this sounds amazing, but who has the time to do all of this?" I hear you. The cognitive load is real. You're a business owner, a leader, a parent—you're already juggling so much. And that’s exactly why I’ve taken the very same system, the one I use for my own shows, and packaged it up.

Our CreatingReorganized Podcasting Service is a premium, white-label solution designed for the established small business owner who knows their time is better spent serving clients and leading their team. We're the AI-powered engine you’ve been dreaming of. We handle all the production, distribution, and promotion. We use AI to save you from burnout, not to make you a cog in a content factory. This is about working smart, not just working hard. If you're ready to get your time back and build a powerful marketing machine, check out the service in the show notes.

Leveraging AI Tools for a Sustainable Content Creation System

This is where leveraging AI tools for a small business promotional podcast becomes a game-changer. My workflow is a "hub and spoke" model. The video podcast is the hub. Using AI, we spin out the spokes:

Video Snippets: The AI can identify compelling moments from your video, and you can export them as short-form video clips with captions, perfect for Instagram Reels or TikTok. This is a crucial step in how to repurpose video content with AI for multiple platforms.

Quote Graphics: The AI can pull out powerful quotes from the transcript, which you can turn into eye-catching graphics for Pinterest or Instagram.

Long-Form Captions: The AI can generate a long-form caption for your LinkedIn post, breaking down the key points of the episode and driving traffic to your show.

This approach ensures a sustainable content creation system for entrepreneurs to avoid burnout. This is not about creating more work; it’s about creating a "set it and forget it" system.
Our CreatingReorganized Podcasting Service is designed for the established small business owner who knows their time is better spent serving clients and leading their team. We're a premium, white-label solution that gives you back your time while we handle the production, distribution, and promotion. We use AI to save you from burnout, not to make you a cog in a content factory. This is about working smart, not just working hard.

If you want to recap our hub and spoke model, read about our full CreatingReorganized workflow, as linked here https://postdoctransformation.ac-page.com/creatingreorganized

There, I break my marketing down into eight components and actual examples for each:

Tasks

Task-related behavioral requirements

Interaction with machines, materials or tools

Work results

Work environment

Social environment

Methods for quality controlling

Requirements to perform all tasks well

Let's pause quickly to appreciate those who bring this valuable episode to you.

I want to share with you my number one lead generator, and you can start that even without a podcast. It's Typeform, and I use it to create free quizzes with open questions and multiple-choice answers. I also pre-define mandatory answers so I can qualify and score leads and collect their email addresses for later nurturing.

I can brand my quizzes, for example, my "Check Your Readiness to Leap Out of Science" quiz with my audio and video files. This way, I can share specific podcast episodes or other information based on their answers and then automatically send them an email after submitting the quiz. I even included a calendar invite for those leads who qualify specifically.

Now I can help everyone on the surface for free and divert my valuable time only to my high-ticket leads on a deep level.

If you want to try out Typeform for your own lead generation and qualification, DM or email me "Typeform" so I can share my experience and consult you. Please check it out via my link in the show notes. I only get a small financial reward if you become their customer using my Typeform link.

Thanks for appreciating our advertisement, and just in case you are a new listener, please listen to our first CreatingReorganized episodes because season 2 builds on season 1:

Here are the first eight episodes we've walked through together

Episode 1: "Why founders of a small business need a video podcast to build trust and boost sales"

We kicked things off by talking about the "why." In a world of noise, a video podcast lets you build that critical know, like, and trust factor.

Episode 2: "How to qualify leads and convert them into paying customers"

This one was all about moving beyond just listeners and turning them into paying clients. We talked about how to use your show to attract the right people and guide them toward your services.

Episode 3: "Best ways to showcase your products or services on a video podcast to drive sales"

We got practical here and dove into the nuts and bolts of demonstrating your expertise and value.

Episode 4: "When to record, edit and publish your video podcast seasonal strategies for the small business owners to avoid burnout"

Oh, this was a big one! I know so many of you are juggling so much, and this episode was all about creating a workflow that works for your life, not against it, to avoid burnout.

Episode 5: "How to promote your video podcast on social media and drive traffic to your business".
We talked about being where your clients are and how to strategically use platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest to get your message out there.

Episode 6: "Free content vs. paid offers, the best mix for your video podcast"

This is a question everyone has! We explored how to give immense value for free while clearly and ethically leading your audience to your premium paid offers.

Episode 7: "Storytelling from behind the scenes for engaging your leads"

This was a personal favorite. We explored how showing the real, unfiltered you—the highs and the lows—can build an incredible connection and turn leads into loyal fans.

Episode 8: "Creating a sales funnel with your video podcast"

We tied it all together by mapping out a complete system to turn a casual listener into a client, so you have a repeatable, reliable process to generate sales 24/7.

I've learned to do all of this by building my own digital business on the side, and that's why I'm so passionate about sharing the tools and strategies that make it possible. I want you to build your own tech stack and to play around, so that’s learning by doing, instead of just listening or reading. I want you to build human procedural knowledge and memory (also called know-how), because that increase in value instead of declarative knowledge (also called know-what), that AI can spit out in endless variations and in seconds or minutes. I bet, that your new mindset will also lead to new business models, and you can thank me later, LOL.

Maybe you are an expert, a book author, an experienced educator or consultant, you know a lot of procedural knowledge and have a unique point of view. In that case, creating a paid e-course or even better a membership is a good way to scale your services.

Offering an e-course is a no-brainer, and Thinkific is an AI-infused learning management system that is a dream for every educator. After setting up an e-course and even better, a mentoring membership, you also need to market and sell it. That's when lead generation with Typeform and podcasting via Descript and Podbean can complement your work perfectly.

If you want to try out Thinkific for creating your own e-course and mentoring membership, DM or email me "Thinkific" so I can share my experience or consult you.

Please check it out via my link in the show notes. I only get a small financial reward if you become their customer using my Thinkific link.

Thank you for listening to our advertisement, so we can continue our CreatingReorganized episode for free.

I already soft-mentioned it, but e-courses full of declarative knowledge can be dead wood nowadays in the era of free YouTube and AI-learning tools. I bet will be a renaissance of the psychological concept “social man” and that’s why mentoring memberships with your procedural knowledge and unique point of view are on the rise. I guess that’s a tangent for you, unless your business model is about e-courses. So, if you want a dedicated episode about that, let me know in the comments. I am very much inclined to do so, because I talk about the economic vs. social, vs. complex vs. self-actualizing and virtual man in my lectures in real life anyway.

Human input is essential in the AI hype

Now, let’s get back to you and how to balance your human efforts vs. using AI strategically in your business promotional video podcast:

As a business owner, you're constantly hearing about AI, automation, and tools that promise to save you time. And they can! I use them myself in my own business CreatingReorganized and for my 'PostdocTransformation' podcast, which is a showcase for how I apply my strategies. My students and clients get to see a real-time example of a middle aged woman leveraging technology to build a business.

I don’t want you to get lost in all the AI hype: human input is essential. I know, I know. You're thinking, "Eleonore, aren't you the one who's always telling us to automate everything?" And yes, I am! But automation is a tool, not a replacement for your genius.

Let me repeat that and refine it: Your human input is essential. The question now arises: When and how?

Think about it like this: your video podcast is ideally your story and why you developed your services and products to solve your clients’ problems, and you are the storyteller. AI can help you write the script, edit the video, and even create the graphics, but the story elements should be yours and not generic. An AI avatar can't tell your story for you. It can't share your unique point of view, your struggles, and your successes. That’s what makes your business and your brand special.

To be honest, there is only one use case where I would use AI avatars: For example, in my jobs as an IT analyst or IT strategy consultant, I was often tasked to train employees on how to use a new software. That’s where I would today use an AI voice or even video avatar to instruct a standardized training curriculum with shared screen, workflow explanations etc., because it’s the software itself that is to be learned by thousands of employees. The employees aren’t interested in learning more about me and my POV.
But that’s different in your business promotional video podcast, where you are essentially the brand voice and face, and sometimes even the product, if you are selling coaching, mentoring memberships etc. with YOU!

Here's a little secret from my own journey: when I was starting my podcast, I felt a lot of pressure to be perfect. I wanted every word to be just right, every edit to be flawless. I was so focused on the technical side of things that I almost forgot to be myself! It was only when I started sharing my authentic story—the ups and downs of my career, my experiences as an immigrants’ child and a mother, my journey from academia to entrepreneurship—that my podcast really started to connect with people.

That's the power of human input. It’s what makes your content authentic and relatable. It’s the difference between a generic, AI-generated script and a heartfelt, authentic and human conversation with a friend.

How do you make sure your human input shines through?

First, at the beginning, you provide the strategy and the script. This is your opportunity to infuse your unique brand voice, personality, and expertise into the content. You are the expert in your field, not the AI.
Use tools like ActiveCampaign and Formtype to understand your audience's needs and pain points, to understand the sentiment, then use your human creativity to craft a message that resonates. That’s market research! And I will talk about the importance of market research later in a different context.

Next, you are the human face and voice. This is the most important part! In an age of AI-generated content, your authenticity is your competitive advantage. Your audience wants to see you, hear your voice, and feel your energy. You can use a tool like Descript to make editing easier, but don't let it smooth out all the imperfections that make you, you! Your real voice, your natural gestures, and your unique personality are what build trust and create a connection with your audience.

I'm a huge believer in the power of leveraging technology, and that's exactly why I chose the tools I use.

My whole tech stack is a living example of how women can capitalize on technology to build a business that serves their vision of life, not the other way around. I have a very clear vision for my business and my family, and every tool in my tech stack, from my podcast host to my email marketing platform, is chosen for its ability to automate, integrate, and save me time.

And for that, I strategically decide, which tasks I want to add to my cognitive load, I don’t want to do all tasks manually and I’ll share in a minute why you shouldn’t either, right after my ad.

ActiveCampaign for integrated email marketing automation, website builder and customer relationship mananagement

I'm expanding my digital business, and I use ActiveCampaign as the centerpiece of all my services like my email course, podcast, newsletter, show notes, website, sales page, merch shop forms—whatever it is, as needed. As a former IT strategy consultant, I have high requirements for my tech stack, and ActiveCampaign offers so many integrations to all my other apps. I use it daily to control, and for every new product or service, I start with ActiveCampaign to dovetail the data workflow from the start. But it’s set and forget, and every time I sit down to design a new product or service, I am amazed about how much AI is infused into ActiveCampaign.

If you want to create your own digital business with various AI-driven lead magnets and funnel options, DM or email me "ActiveCampaign" so I can share my experience and consult you. Please check it out via my link in the show notes. I only get a small financial reward if you become their customer using my ActiveCampaign link.

Think your (side) business AI-first

Thanks for listening to my ad, and now let’s get back to marketing, like I have promised:

I'm not here to tell you what your business model should be. That's for you to figure out based on your unique skills and passions. And if you are my current bachelor and master student, I’ll be happy to discuss that with you in our lecture breaks.

But what I am here to tell you is this: When you really start your side-hustle today, think AI-first, especially when it comes to your marketing.

I see so many brilliant minds, so many of you with incredible ideas, who get to the end of developing your product or service and THEN start thinking about marketing. That's a huge mistake! Marketing isn't something you slap on at the end. Or even worse, you think, a great product or service doesn’t need marketing. It will speak for itself. Well. No. LOL. Marketing is a critical part of your business strategy, and it's best when it informs your business development from the very BEGINNING.

Think about it this way: your video podcast isn't just a marketing tool. It's a goldmine for market research. By creating content and analyzing how your audience responds, you can quickly and efficiently test ideas, refine your messaging, and discover what your ideal customers truly want.

And here's where the AI-first approach comes in. When you start with a video podcast, you're not just creating one piece of content. You're creating a central hub from which you can derive a multitude of social media assets, and THEN analyze the statistics across all social media platforms, for each season, comparing episodes, derived social media clips and posts etc.

Even though you see my content on many social media platforms at multiple times a day, I don't spend hours trying to come up with new content for every single social media platform. Let me repeat that: I create one long-form video podcast episode, and then I use AI tools to help me repurpose and distribute that content across all my channels.

This approach saves me an incredible amount of time, reduces my workload, and ensures that my marketing efforts are always aligned with my core message. It's all about working smarter, not harder.

Resilience in entrepreneurship

And this brings me to a key point: resilience in entrepreneurship. Starting a business is a marathon, not a sprint. The last thing you want is to burn out from trying to do everything yourself.

By the way, we did this related episode 4: "When to record, edit and publish your video podcast seasonal strategies for the small business owners to avoid burnout" and it was the most listened to episode of season 1, as linked in the show notes.

By leveraging technology and thinking AI-first, you're building a sustainable marketing machine that works for you 24/7. This allows you to focus on the things that only a human can do: building relationships with your customers, innovating your products, and leading your business.

Are you now curious, which tool I use for my automated social media management tool that works for me, and not the other way around? Tadaa, it’s Metricool, the Swiss army knife for your social media management. It's the tool that helps me schedule content, analyze my audience, and track my performance all in one place.
You can create and schedule your content in advance according to the best posting times based on your followers. For campaigns across many days or weeks, I capitalize on their auto-lists and repeat features, so I can focus on the important things according to my vision of life.

If you want to schedule your content on social media, DM or email me "Metricool" so I can share my experience and consult you. Please check it out via my link in the show notes. I only get a small financial reward if you become their customer using my Metricool link.

Balancing Authenticity and Automation

So, as promised, let's bring it all back to our mentioned psychological models. We've talked about AI as a sidekick and how to use it to amplify your unique brand. But let’s get to the core of why this is so important for you.

We've explored the Theory of Planned Behavior, which explains that your willingness to use AI is based on your attitude, the social norms, and your perceived behavioral control. My job here is to give you that control, to show you that you can do this, and to make it feel less intimidating.

However, your ability to stick with it is also tied to a third concept from psychology: Cognitive Load Theory (Sweller 1988). This theory, often used in educational psychology, suggests that our working memory has a limited capacity.

Let’s apply that to your current situation:

When you try to process too much information at once—like trying to learn a complicated video editing program from scratch while also running a business—you get overwhelmed. You can't think clearly, and you're more likely to give up.

The fear of AI isn't just a tech problem; it's a cognitive load problem. You see all these new tools and think, "I have to learn all of this!" It feels like an impossible task, and your brain shuts down.

But with a human-centered approach, like the one I've outlined, you reduce that cognitive load. You use AI to do the boring, routine stuff—the stuff that drains your mental energy—so your working memory is free for the important things: creativity, storytelling, and connecting with your audience.

Your value is not in your ability to click a thousand buttons. Your value is in your expertise, your passion, and your unique point of view. AI handles the cognitive load of production so you can focus on the cognitive load of creation. That's the secret to not just surviving, but thriving in this new AI-boosted content landscape.
